James McCourt's Biography
INTRODUCING......
James McCourt is a British television host best known for his appearances on The National Lottery BBC1, every Wednesday and Saturday night, which attracts audiences in excess of 8 million+ in its primetime slot and also recognised as a face of the TV Guide network & E! entertainment in the US.
Back in the UK he was host of the Euromillions lottery show as well as being a regular face on The Travel Channel where he combined his passion for travel with his charming on camera persona.
A natural on screen, James has fronted Hot Wired for UK terrestrial network Channel 4 and was a guest host on Shake for UK terrestrial network Five. He is also recognizable from his 3 year stint as one of Disney channel UKs main personalities-interviewing world class celebrities, hosting televised live awards shows and studio links.
LADY LUCK ON HIS SIDE?
James career started at just the age of 12 when he hosted a childrens radio show. Five years later he landed his first real hosting job on BBC Radio Sheffield (his home town) and following a two year stint working on a weekend youth show, he left the station to pursue a singing career with his own band, In 2 Deep. Two years on the road, and one UK top 40 hit later, James decided that it was time to turn his attention back to TV, and, via a number of other career highs, bagged himself the primetime slot on The National Lottery. From radio to singing in a band to musicals, theatre and TV, James has always prided himself on being able to turn his skills to the job in hand. A multi-talented individual with huge ambition he now looks forward to branching out to a US audience and firmly believes he has the qualities required to become the next rising star.

1) His brother Richard is a TV host in the UK.
2) If James wasnt a host, he would be a singer/songwriter.
3) James has a passion for Italy and has visited his favorite destination, Pietrasanta, on the Versilia coast over 15 times (hes learning Italian too!)
4) He occasionally works as a life coach- advising on personal and professional issues.
